The idea for Valos stems from an inherent problem in the industry where the least value-add activities take the most amount of time! So we decided to create property valuation software to automate this process.

Our History
The Growth of Valos
The Valos story begins with two bright-eyed Surveyors entering the world of valuations, and quickly becoming frustrated with the slow, repetitive process of manual report writing. So they sought out an experienced software developer to build a technology capable of revolutionising this process…and, like all successful start-ups, started operations from a garden shed.
Milestones
May 2020 Valos was born
Two Surveyors and a Software Engineer set about trying to improve report writing in property. Armed with a below average knowledge of DIY, they transformed the shed in the back of one of their gardens into Valos’ first HQ – the Shed.
July 2021 MVP
With the aid of their existing knowledge, and continuous feedback from development partners, the first iteration of Valos went live.
December 2021 Investment Raised
Valos raises half a million pounds in their first investment round from strategic investors to focus on growth. The real journey had begun.
February 2022 First Client
Valos secures their first commercial client, confirming that there is indeed demand for their product.
April 2022 First Enterprise Client
A huge milestone in Valos’ journey: one of the largest global property consultancies start to use the software commercially.
June 2022 New HQ
Valos takes another stereotypical start-up route (how could we not!?), moving from the Shed to offices in Shoreditch.
